We’re Looking for a Depot Manager in Bridgwater

May 3, 2026 | Recycling News

Things are busy at Perrys Recycling (which is just how we like it), so we’re on the lookout for a Depot Manager to take the reins at our Bridgwater site.

This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk kind of role. It’s very much hands-on, right in the middle of the action – keeping things running smoothly, supporting the team, and making sure the depot is working as efficiently as it can.

What the Role Looks Like Day-to-Day

No two days are quite the same, but you’ll be overseeing everything from team performance and workflow to stock, equipment, and general site organisation. It’s about spotting where things can run better and doing something about it.

You’ll be working closely with the Production Manager, helping to keep standards high across the board – especially when it comes to health & safety and overall site performance.

Who Might Suit This Role

We’re not looking for someone to just keep things ticking over. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who naturally takes ownership, enjoys solving problems, and isn’t afraid to get stuck in on the shop floor.

If you’ve worked in an operational or production environment before and like the idea of leading a team while improving how things are done, you’ll probably feel right at home here.

A Bit About Perrys

We’re a family-run business with over 60 years under our belt, working with companies across the South West to help them recycle more and send less to landfill. Day in, day out, we handle thousands of tonnes of material – paper, cardboard, plastics, metals – all with the aim of keeping resources in use for as long as possible.

It’s a fast-moving environment, but it’s also a supportive one. People tend to stick around, and there’s plenty of opportunity to grow if you want to.

The Details

The role is full-time and based in Bridgwater. The salary is between £33,000 and £38,500, depending on experience. There are a few nice extras too, like free parking, a canteen, casual dress, and an employee mentoring programme.

If you like the sound of a role where you can take ownership, make improvements, and be part of a busy, hardworking team, we’d really like to talk to you. Email us at info@perrys-recycling.co.ukLearn morewww.perrys-recycling.co.uk
